Embarked upon on a temporary assignment (9-12 months) to work with the Chief Delivery Officer at GCI, a former colleague at CORT/Infinium, to assess and build the West Coast as a sales territory for outsourced/offshore IT services.Spent time in Bangalore, India learning the offshore delivery process. Managed our Microsoft Alliance partnership as a certified Gold Partner.

Responsible for Consulting Services, Customer Education, Customer Support, Administration (including Finance, Legal, and Human Resources) and Partners/Alliances.  Drove the transition of our company "restart" including policy, benefits & compensation, systems, and customer communication.  Managed and strengthened customer relationships through 2 separate acquisitions and 1 divestiture (and “re-start”) of our company.  Assisted Marketing with our "re-branding" effort (new name, messaging, website, trade show booths, collateral, etc.)  Managed managers, individual contributors, and partners/alliances. Managed budgets to P&L - $5 million.

Practice Manager / Director, Consulting Services

Responsible for the succesful delivery of all consulting services engagements; managed and coordinated all resources involved in each implementation project and reported back to stakeholders.

·Directed a team of implementation consultants, data conversion specialists, trainers, programmers, and 3rd party consultants while managing multiple payroll/HR/Self Service implementation projects for customers of up to 20,000+ employees.

·Managed 3 separate technology platform migrations (HP3000 to Windows/Btrieve to Windows/SQL to .NET) impacting the entire customer base with required conversion and upgrade processes while simultaneously managing new customer implementation projects.

·Developed project plans, scheduled resources, conducted meetings and project planning workshops, and acted as liaison between Sales/Services, Services/Development, Services/Support; responsible for customer experience during entire customer lifecycle.Managed customer expectations, project risk and change throughout project delivery.

·Conducted needs analyses, developed proof-of-concept demonstrations, delivered onsite presentations, authored proposals and SOWs to support sales efforts.

·Conducted transition meetings, requirements definition workshops, internal strategy meetings, status updates, etc.

·Designed and implemented 4-phase implementation methodology

·Designed and implemented “Advantage U” course catalog and curriculum for internal training; later transformed to “customizable” training modules for our customers.Net effect; increased the efficiency of “ramp up” for new consultants and decreased the amount of time before becoming “billable”; increased customer education offerings and revenue opportunities.

·Developed and marketed new Professional Services offerings and deliverables.

·Recruited, managed, and retained a consulting services team of over 30 employees, 3rd party consultants, and business partners through a tremendous amount of transition and change, including three separate corporate acquisitions of our company and five major changes in executive leadership
