Office Assistant

AMF is one of, if not the largest Bowling recreation chain in the world. Currently, I am the Office Assistant and League Recorder of AMF University Lanes. My main job is to keep the database and league records up to date for the 30 plus leagues that bowl weekly at our center. I have also been made responsible for transferring current bowler information into a National database system, bill pays, scheduling UPS pick-ups and supply orders. Recently I have also overseen the running of the center during the day shift. Previously I was in charge of a tournament called the Forty Frame Game. This was a tournament that was held along side of the USBC Womens Nationals that were held in Charlotte in April-June of 2007. During this time I took registrations, assigned lanes, assisted with scoring and distributed cash prizes.I have also been the Head Lane Server at University Lanes. As a laneserver, it was part of my job to get bowlers situated on lanes, assisting them with any issues with our scoring system and provide them with food and beverages if needed. I have also trained others in the workings of our Point of Sale (POS) system. Other duties included assisting in the snackbar, bar, and inventory.

Lab Assistant

Western Carolina University IT

The Educational Technologies section of the IT Dept. is responsible for the student computer labs on campus.  While here, I monitored the labs and assisted students having minor �how-to� problems with various programs.  I also assisted in various software and hardware upgrades including, but not limited to: memory upgrades, harddrive installation, and computer set-up.

Successfully completed 139 semester hours at the institution, earning a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice. Participated in various extra-cirricular groups, and worked throughout school as a Lab Assistant in the student computer labs.
