Responsibilities:

Responsible for business development of BASF Construction Chemicals across all Hydro projects, Metro Rail Projects & allied tunnel projects in Eastern India & Bhutan.

  •  Marketing of BASF MEYCO applications across the Segment , through B2B direct appoach.
  • To Consult with various departments within BASF regarding the direction and strategies.
  • Development of relevant sales strategy of Major accounts in specific region and to maintain the Profitability of these accounts.
  • Obtain requirement of applications from various sites and to provide cost efficient solutions.
  • Provide technical services to clients relating to sales cycle & application.
  • Execute strategies at the regional level in order to ensure high degree of sustainable business.
  • To monitor market trends & competitors activities

Customer base mainly includes major Hydro Power projects and contractors executing these projects, viz. L&T-ECC, HCC, Abir, SEW, NEC, SOMA, LANCO, COASTAL, etc.I'am also responsible to develop BASF's business in underground mining segment with customers like Uranium Corporation of india, Hindusthan Copper Limited and Coal India.

Customer base mainly consisted of various Hydro Projects in NE, various road contractors working for NHAI projects in NE & Bihar, Cement companies in Meghalaya, Border Roads Organisations, viz. Vartak, Pushpak, Dantak, Setuk, Arunank, etc.

Responsibilities:

Joined Voltas's Pumps & Projects Business Division, posted out of Jamshedpur, as a Senior Engineer - Projects. Was responsible for equipment installation under Voltas's package for Augmentation of Blower House-IV (1 Million Ton Expansion Project of Tata Steel).Good hands on exposure in various critical equipment installations like Turbine, Blower, VT Pumps, HSC Pumps, Steam Line and Cold Blast line.

1)  Project Marketing,Liason and negotiations, Execution ,erection and commissioning of 75 mW Steam          Turbine coupled with Axial Compressor and all accessories(Supplied by MAN TURBO MASCHINEN,Germany) for New Turbo Blower Project a/c Tata Steel’s 1 Million Ton per Annum expansion.

 2)  Project Marketing,Liason and negotiations, Execution ,erection and commissioning of six pump houses including 26 horizontal split casing pumps and 2 vertical turbine pumps at LD#2 (Slab Caster) A/c. Tata Steel’s 1 MTPA Expansion.

 3)  Project Marketing,Liason and negotiations, Execution ,erection and commissioning of 3 pump houses at New Rebar Mill comprising 26 horizontal split casing pumps A/c. Tata Steel’s 1 MTPA expansion project.

 4)  Cost estimation of turn key projects and liaison for the same with customers like TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, JUSCO,etc.

 5)  Sub-vendoring of  various aspects of the project to various companies like Paharpur Cooling Towers, Shapoorji Paloomjee & Co.,BHEL, Larsen & Toubro ltd., GIS-MICCO, Resin India, Crompton and Greaves, Cummins, Greaves Cotton, etc.

 6)  Total project monitoring and project management of projects worth Rs.147 Crores.

 7)   Good personal relationship with various officials of  The Kolkata Municipal Corporation,TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, Paharpur Cooling Towers, Shapoorji Paloomji & Co., Tantia Construction Co., Micco, L & T-ECC Division, SENBO Constructions & various other construction companies.
