Was awarded a Merit Scholarship of $2500.

Served as a Graduate Assistant  

*Worked under the assistant to the chair in the Department of Architecture.  

*Simultaneously helped in updating the slide library 

collection at the Visual Resource Center.

Was enrolled in the Material Culture Research Group (Fall 2010, Spring 2011), Sustainable Urban and Natural Environments Research Group (Fall 2011), and the  Inclusive Design Research Group (Spring 2012).

The work of our studio--Post-Industrial house-was  presented at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center in Buffalo, NY.

Designed and executed a 16' tower at Griffis Scuplture Park in Buffalo, NY as part of the Material Culture Studio. Collectively our team of three, performed the tasks of the architect, the contractor, the structural engineer as well as all the site laborers.

The University at Buffalo Campus Living staff served as our clients for the Project--Living Learning quarter--during the Spring 2012 semester.

Summary

Sandeep Nagpal is a recent graduate with an M.Arch degree. His career objective is to seek and expand, ad infinitum, his knowledge and experience in the architectural field, and to utilize his consequent expertise, for contributing to excellence in the industry. 

Owing to his holistic academic and professional training, as well as the broad skill sets that he possesses, he can do justice to the wide gamut of responsibilities associated with the various positions in the architecture, planning and construction industry.  On the educational front, he has capitalized on the flexibility offered, to gain an insight into different research areas such as inclusive design, material culture and sustainability, among others. Professionally, his persistence, earned him the responsibility of seeing tasks through, right from the sketch pad until their timely execution in situ.    

His myriad professional interests include: campus-design, high-rise residential projects, corporate projects, healthcare, project management, BIM, graphic design, construction management, and sustainability, to name a few. With his problem-solving attitude, analytical skills, and the willingness to step out of his comfort zone, he has been able to undertake challenging ventures even in the not-so-familiar areas.

Further, like at every institution or firm which he has participated at, he is always excited to take up responsibilities, beyond what the norm calls for: those in the past have included team leadership, managerial, and supervisory roles.
