Summary...

Journalist. Welsh Speaker. Blogger. Music Junkie. Mental Health Awareness Advocate. Cat Mother.

My Mission Statement

I've always found solace in the written word, whether it being writing about the band I saw last night, scripts for news packages or my opinions on current affairs and the everyday frustrations of being a human being. I guess being creative has always been an escapism for me. A keen radio producer with a diverse skill set, I have understanding in the importance of getting a complex or a thought to a large audience and being able to convey it in a way that everyone understands and appreciates. Alongside this, creating television content is something that allows me to think in a cinematographic way, giving me the leeway to create something that is not only pleasing to the eye, but content that is engaging and informative. My main interest lies purely in the alternative music scene. A keen blogger; I spend the majority of my nights at live music concerts, reviewing albums/gigs and interviewing my favourite local bands. I love art, politics, films, country walks with my dog, iced vanilla lattes and cuddling my two cats. Most importantly I like talking to people, listening to people and informing people; and that's why being a journalist and working with people is the ideal career choice for me.
