In short, help experiences that increase top line revenues and the bottom line by dramatically lowering support costs.At MindTouch, I was responsible for introducing SCRUM and managing the Engineering, QA and Network Operation teams comprised of both local and remote employees. I also contributed as an engineer, including development of the initial MindTouch/Zendesk integration proof of concept as well as a proprietary content summarization algorithm.

Led key development activities within division, which creates SaaS products. Spearheaded development team engaged in improving user experience, overseeing 9 professionals and managing virtualized development environments, including web, database and code repositories. Oversaw search team, supervising creation of a Solr-based system. Developed initial version of Evidence Transfer Manager, a hardware device designed to transfer AXON data to the cloud software stack. Maintained high availability and security standards, working closely with network operations personnel. Enhanced architecture and provided planning for the v2.0 release.

Led innovative web-based contextual advertising venture. Spearheaded offshore teams engaged in creating website templates and launching new sites. Identified content sources compatible with company web platform. Created anchor sites to promote network. Negotiated contextual advertising agreements. Launched,, Organic Broadcast Project and BlogSieve sites. Managed company technology infrastructure and all facets of operations.

Co-founded publicly traded “trans-media” company offering 4 cable TV shows and garnering revenue via cable broadcasting, streaming video, VHS / DVD and international content trades. Managed 4 employees. Created and managed all TV show sites. Maintained infrastructure. Developed MediaLimiter software application to combat copyright infringement. Invited to speak at prestigious streaming video conference.

Created and managed world’s largest online vitamin, supplement and mineral supplier (at age 15) and took company public in 1999, reaching a peak market cap of $600M. Created v1.0 website and managed initial infrastructure. Directed team engaged in developing v2.0 of site after acquisition. Successfully grew firm from start-up to mature business.
