Duties include verifying travel documents such as passports and visas, entry requirements for travel destinations, and passenger information. Additional responsibilities include responding to customer service inquiries, checking in passengers, properly tagging and identifying baggage, boarding passengers onto aircraft, and assisting French, Italian, and Russian-speaking travelers.
Operational tasks include making relevant announcements in French and English regarding flight information, updating and ensuring the accuracy of electronic signage at the boarding gate, communicating with cabin crew and ground personnel to organize the boarding process, and ensuring passenger safety and security in all airport zones. Additionally, passenger service agents are charged with providing passengers with information concerning delays and cancellations, interpreting for passengers during the immigration process, and disseminating information about baggage and connecting flights.
