Vortexa
  • Lead UX, UI, QA and Product Manager for an energy analytics product that tracks and aggregates all seaborne movements of oil in real-time using machine learning models.
  • Conceptualized the founders' idea, ran in-depth user studies, designed the UI and manage development of Vortexa Analytics. The product launched in 2017 and is currently used by many of the largest oil trading firms.
  • Other tasks include: Designing a geospatial polygon classification graph, designing and developing the company website, designing print brochures for multiple conferences, designing conference stands, maintaining database of polygons, running sales demos, troubleshooting with clients, light front-end development and much more.

  • Responsibilities included gathering requirements, interviewing stakeholders, organizing information, sketching, wireframing, prototyping and developing proofs of concept.

  • Product manager, lead developer and lead UI designer for the company's flagship mobile product, launched in March 2014.
  • In the first year, the Já.is app (http://app.ja.is) reached 90,000 downloads. Its 20,000 daily users have made over million phone calls using the app.
