Researched and wrote prospectus for The Whole Cat Journal and subsequently became editor-in-chief of 24-page monthly publication: Assigned and developed articles with writers; contributed articles, Editor’s Note and photography; edited six features monthly; compiled column material, supervised production and eventually performed hands-on production using QuarkXpress and Photoshop.

Responsible for editorial content of three, twice-monthly, regional trade magazines for the construction industry: Constructioneer, New England Construction and Construction: Worked with field writers and prepared their feature stories for publication. Contributed local job stories, including photography. Developed annual “Women in Construction” issue and column material to keep current with industry changes. Selected and prepared complementary editorial content according to focus issues. Contributed to redesign of magazines after changeover to desktop publishing. Represented the publications at various media events.
