The client was one of the biggest software giants in the world and Infosys, as a strategic partner, was involved in servicing and maintaining the product of this client. This project was a long term project having deliverables on a Very regular basis with stringent and challenging timelines

·Responsible for maintaining the quality of products. This includes quality check of various products.

·Responsible for handling a team of 10.

·Keeping track of the various quality measures as stated by the company to deliver highly efficient and high standard products by avoiding any kind of manufacture discrepancies.

Software Test Engineer(Intermediate)

The regular activities of product testing involving Regression testing, Sanity Testing and Integration Test Pass etc. were a daily routine. Understanding scenarios directly with the client side SME, reporting of test results, investigation of failures and fixing test holes thru automations were the primary responsibilities of the project. The responsibilities for this role included: ·        Involved in client deliverable of maintaining their Product after release. This includes finding potential/known threats/problems, triaging the problems, proposing solutions, fixing problem and testing. ·        Automating the manual work in testing so as to improve productivity. ·        Domain Expertise in the area of OS and Networking obtained. Network and Systems Monitoring and Management .Gathered rich expertise in DHCP, DNS, DC, TS, PKI, and Automations in VB script…. ·        Responsibility as a client interface to a team size of 5-10 software engineers. This involved interfacing during telecons, reviewing their plans for past and present weeks, reviewing the deliverables before they are send to the client, enforcing process adherence by members for any deliverables…. ·        Involved in process formation with management for client related work  

Brite Initiative

A prestigious quality certification (six sigma variant)drive which aims at generating precious dollar savings of apprx 190K US$ to customer through green initiatives. The responsibilities for this role included: ·        Defining the methodologies in implementation. ·        Requirement gathering. ·        Pushing the drive across the team. ·        Delivering the expected results.

Shared lab Initiative

This initiative was taken to reduce the person effort and for proper management the resources thereby bringing down the total effort and cost of execution of test pass. The Responsibilities for this role included: ·        Worked in design of the shared lab tool. ·        Managing a pool of 3000+ machines. ·        E2E migration of various components. ·        Inventory management. ·        Guideline Checks and Certification of automations for other team members
