One of my key achievements has been the personal project on writing a book about S60 based phone programs that was published by the Wiley& sons Ltd. in Jan 2007. It explains in detail the architecture of the S60 as well as gives tips for how to utilize the platform in device programs in a meaningful way. This book has received lots of very positive feedback from the Nokia’s developer community and S60 platform Licensees.

As Technology Consultancy Manager I managed a multi-national group of highly professional people, who constantly provided help to S60 Licensees’ projects. The team helped the development of 11 new S60 devices. In this work I co-operated not only with the customers and platform organization but to wide extent with Nokia’s Marketing and Sales team as well as with the Legal. Iparticipated in S60 level strategy work and gained a good understanding on what are the biggest obstacles for the Licensees to build their phones on top of S60. I also had a perfect view on the overall smart phone development cycle. In this position I had the opportunity to improve my know-how on the Symbian OS and other smart phone technologies. Working side by side with the external Licensees and customers deepened my understanding on ways to exceed customer expectations.
