The purpose of the AbilityLab Compliance System  (ACS) is to provide an IBM enterprise wide system solution with the necessary functions to manage the compliance requirements, deviation processing, and reporting for Corporate Instruction 162.   ACS will replace the existing Lotus Notes solution with a Web based User Interface, based on WAS, DB2 and other key middleware products that provide the functionality required by the system.   

The purpose of ACS is to provide a tool that includes the following: 

  • Enables the management of the compliance criteria (manage the checklists).
  • Records compliance status for the appropriate development organizations.
  • Provides an exception process
  • Business insight and compliance reports.


  • Developing portlets using Web Experience factory.
  • Developing REST API for different modules.
  • Developing REST Interface to manage IBM Forms for use in the ACS system.
  • Developing DB access interface using JPA
  • Analyzing the requirements and converting into design documents.
  • Developing Java Utils to help with migration process.
  • Helping other Team members in understanding the requirements and with technical support.

PROJECT #2   BMIQ                                                                                                      

BMIQ is about losing weight and getting healthy, the smart way.  BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that professionals use to screen for weight categories that could lead to health problems.

BMIQ offers accessible and professional weight management programs for people with a BMI of at least 27 with associated medical conditions (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) or have a BMI greater than 30 who want to make fundamental changes in their life to become healthy.


  • Involved in implementing new features and Enhancements.
  • Involved in the Developing DAO classes.
  • Involved in the Developing JSPs.
  • Gone through requirement documents and did impact analysis on existing functionality.
