Licensing Examination & Education Specialist

Major Duties: $22.47/hr
- Exam Administration- Comprehensive administration of over 1200 DSPS-administered and national professional examinations annually. Stay in direct contact with exam candidates before and after exams, schedule locations, hire proctors, assure examination security, conduct reviews, score results, calculate pass rates and generate reports. Work directly with licensing boards and Subject Matter Experts to create and modify examinations as state rules are modified.
- Contracts/RFB/RFB Coordinator - Work directly with state and national vendors regarding annual contracts through the DOA Procurement process. Maintain comprehensive and constantly-evolving knowledge of the state purchasing process, as well as all laws pertaining to vendor contracts and fiscal requirements.
- Education Monitor- Work directly with State boards, colleges and private education providers to regulate and maintain educational compliance. Function as sole point of contact between board, public and sponsors nationwide. Conduct comprehensive audits when necessary, create analytical reports and generate detailed status presentations.
- Customer Service- Work directly with licensees throughout the examination process, including in-person meetings and reviews. Remain knowledgeable in the state laws and statutes pertaining to all licensed professions. Maintain solid communication with entire department to ensure accurate and quality service to all licensed professionals. Maintain utmost confidentiality pertaining to examination security, and function amongst constant daily and weekly deadlines.
