Ryan's Professional Portfolio

Professional Philosophy:

Enhancing safe and healthful workplaces for all employees through design, consultation, education, and training.  The commitment to safety and health, in any industry, reaches far beyond the provision of PPE, and extends into the core competencies, goals, and vision of an organization.  Safety and health are not priorities, but a set of values by which an organization and its employees conduct themselves.  As organizational priorities change, their focus and commitment to safety and health must remain paramount.  The true measure of a successful safety culture is not enforcement, but rather, the value and commitment to safety and health, even when the "safety people" are not around.
