Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd was established in the year 1951. Since then it is pioneer in material handling equipments i.e. elevators, Conveyors and gears and serve its best in class products to industries like power plant, Mining, Sea port, Steel industry at al.
Strategic business cell division works on projects of Merger & Acquisition, Joint venture, Financial analysis of group of companies, Marketing, Marketing research, Business Development at al.
Project 1: “Feasibility study of company ‘A’ for acquisition purpose.”
Summary: We have done financial analysis of company by doing ratio analysis, valuation by DCF approach, Dupont analysis, Altman Z-score with suitable projection for next 8 years with consideration of production capacity and limitations. As well as, we have done market analysis of same area of business in south India.
Project 2: “Business analysis of Elecon’s subsidiaries (Singapore & Dubai).”
Summary: We have done financial analysis, Sales analysis region and product wise, and expense analysis of both subsidiaries.
Project 3: “ Market study for business opportunity of Ready Mix Concrete nearby Anand area”
Summary: We are looking for setting up RMC plant for Anand area. Till date there is no RMC plant in Anand area, so if we move ahead with this plan then we can get first mover advantage. But before investing lacs of money in this business, we have to check business opportunity as per Present demand and future demand of RMC, realty sector growth in Anand-vidhyanagar and nearby area in range of 30 kms.
Projects 4: “Opportunity for Solar power in Gujarat”
Summary: As Gujarat is aggressively working to set up solar power plant for renewable power source. So I have forwarded proposal to company to diversify business in power sector mainly in Gujarat.
Project 5: “ Company analysis of SEW Eurodrive & NORD drivesystem “
Summary: We have covered information about business, product portfolio analysis, industry specific application of products, marketing strategy & supply chain strategy based on primary and secondary sources.
Project 6: “Business plan for Crusher, Screens and feeder products of the company”
Objective of this project was to increase revenue from crusher family, market penetration through new products, market development for crusher, screen and feeder and to compete with competitor.
