I set up Wooshping in 2012 with the express objective to help businesses engage with their customers through their mobile phone. Wooshping is a market leader in providing simple, spontaneous and instant engagement opportunities that allow brands and businesses to get closer to their customers, using campaign tools that provide true insight into engagement and usage.

Wooshping has specialised in mobile optimised campaigns that have utilised mobile capabilities like Near Field Communication(NFC) and beacons.

Significant projects that we have delivered on behalf of clients like Nokia, Sony Mobile, Cancer Research, Bliss, Microsoft, Crisis, and TotalProduce, include the critically acclaimed Talking Statues and our Instant Fundraising Wristbands, now utilised by over 10 charities in the UK.

My role as Founder and Managing Director has been to run all aspects of the business from business development and sales, all aspects of marketing(including digital, PR, CRM and product marketing), project management through to delivery, employee management, business administration, and vision and strategy.

Responsible for driving the awareness, adoption, and retention of Nokia's services to consumers through direct consumer engagement activity and through partner operator and retail channels.

Responsible for ensuring best in class GTM of services launching in association with operator partners and engaging with brands, agencies and developers to promote Nokia's Ecosystem, strategy and in market opportunity around applications.

Responsible for overseeing the relationship with Microsoft for West Europe.

Negotiated and secured the exclusive X Factor partnership for Nokia in 2010, including the launch of the official X Factor application, the online music partnership and the exclusive X Factor smartphone 

Led the UK launch and development of an open NFC proposition, the nfc-hub(, a platform that has been adopted globally by Nokia LSU's, services platforms and brands. 

Leading a team of 3, I had commercial responsibility for the P&L of the 3 categories and overseeing the development of product strategies and roadmaps designed to meet target objectives. Responsible for the development the marketing campaigns to support the initiatives, and coordinating the implementation of the product improvement plans and coordinating the day to day retailing of the products.


Music Dual Download – Defined, scoped and implemented dual download for audio tracks

Launched the 16 channel mobile TV service in 9 months, including the UK first exclusive launch of ITV 1 simulcast transmission on mobile

Commissioned and launched the World Cup TV service

Launched the TV clips service to support TV shows resulting in over 5 million video downloads

Managed the UK’s most successful Mobile Adult Services channel

Defined the proposition and managed the launch of Mobile Jukebox(Mobile Mix) in Austria and the UK.

Defined and managed the implementation of the full-track downloads service for launch in 2005.

Launched a coordinated the pan-European exclusive handset promotion for the Motorola E398 with the Black Eyed Peas. This included 9 concerts throughout Europe and the full marketing mix to support the product launch in 7 European markets.
