Left Belgium early in my career to gain broader-based management experience, living and working mainly in South-East Asia. My key area of interest and expertise is in IT Services in a senior role. Main motivators are the challenge of new experiences and adding value in a growing but profitable business.

I would consider myself to be exceptionally delivery and results-orientated, with no illusions about the personal time, dedication and focus required to achieve major objectives. Clients include both multi-national companies as local companies, government and state-owned enterprises. Portfolio includes payment solutions, enterprise solutions, technology solutions, applications management and point –solutions for specific industries.

Based in Thailand, reporting to the Vice President Consulting and Systems Integration Asia. Responsible for the introduction of new services and solutions into the Asia Pacific market, for partnerships and alliances, portfolio management, overall quality assurance of major integration projects, and regional bid-support.. Key Achievement: over a period of 3 months constructed,negotiated and signed a global framework agreement with a major State-Owned Enterprise in mainland China (Beijing). This framework agreement was a basis for negotiating 7 separate consulting and integration projects, resorting under a large-scale and complex SAP-enabled business transformation program.

Designed and built a regional service desk and desktop competency center in Cyberjaya Malaysia (150+ staff). Organized service delivery for major desktop contracts, in collaboration with global teams. Business development in Asia Pacific. In addition, responsible for internal IT and end-user services for Atos Origin Asia Pacific.

  • Appointed CEO-designate for Joint Venture with Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. This JV was eventually cancelled and replaced by a business alliance.
  • Represented Atos Euronext France in restructuring and transition program for Atos Origin FITS (ex Atos Euronext Netherlands). Achieved cost reductions of over 25% over original restructuring budget.

Responsible on global level for service product development and roll-out of Atos Origin's eBusiness Solutions. The eFocus program consisted of 11 teams in 5 countries across Asia and North-America and required intensive collaboration with Country managers and Business Unit managers worldwide. eFocus included product-development, design and delivery of internal training programs, support for marketing activities and active sales support. The program also was an important enabler for the integration of Atos and Origin solutions after the merger of the two companies, delivering a consistent message and service portfolio to the clients of the newly formed company. (note: expatriated from Singapore to France/Netherlands May 2002-August 2004)
