Progressive Retail Executive

Successfully provided advanced expertise on more complex processes and projects in over 35 unique businesses.  Improved communications that develop and support effective people.  Increased efficiency by 45%+ through applied technology.  Decreased costs 38%+ by developing and teaching lean containment processes.  Increased revenues 27%+ by applying a comprehensive set of six-sigma standards and tools for sustainable problem solving framework.  My methods are simple to implement, but are complex in their deliberate methodology to resolving issues.  My unique teams have consistently fixed the “time to market” and “ shelf to cash” paradigms by synthesizing the deviation in the time ratio of procurement to liquidation.  The associates quickly become passionate about WHAT, WHY and HOW they do their jobs. Knowledge is only half the equation; I instill intelligent actions that engage to achieve continued improvements.  My concurrent 15+ years of Executive level financial controls, forecast planning, systems, procurement and allocation, 11+ years of Senior level strategic supply chain improvement and replenishment, and my 5+ years of professional consulting have merged to establish me as an organization’s strategic and tactical visionary leader.

Retail Executive Self Assessment

Creating passion where there once was despair by effectively communicating principle, integrity and objectives with clarity.
"Listen to the numbers; Obey the analysis!"
"Analyze twice, Execute once!"
I spent the initial years of my employment experience focused on obtaining the necessary multi-dimensional retail background needed to harness the appropriate business intellect and personnel skills to be a great leader.    I now posses the skills needed to create, articulate, own and drive a vision to my team for execution.   I truly enjoy empowering individuals to make good solid business decisions, and then praising the person or persons publicly for their accomplishments.  I have not and will not hold these individuals accountable for times when the business is not in lockstep with our expectations.  The Buck Stops Here!   I spread the fame and take the blame.  I have learned what I know through trial and error, no secret formula and no control factors in my favor.  Just a focus and dedication to complete projects on time, under budget and surpass initial expectations.
