I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel the world at such a young age. I've been to three European countries and have made the trip twice. It has given me a lot of insight on a lot of different types of people, and it has helped me to learn how to work and interact with almost anyone. At my current position, working at a call center, I have to handle all sorts of different customer interactions.

Customer Service Representative 

NW Natural

Working for Nw Natural as a customer service representative has been a wonderful experience. My duties have included helping customer understand their bills and come up with creative solutions if they're having any difficulty making payments.  I am also responsible for everything from scheduling orders to start, stop or transfer service to scheduling home visits with field technicians to help customer with their equipment.  I've also had the opportunity to participate in several committees and task work such as diversity training and a QA team that worked closely with our IT department to locate and fix issues with our current customer information system. I was also selected to join our Support Desk group where I am responsible for helping reps to with difficult situations including understanding billing questions and taking escalated calls from customers. The Support Desk also works with our Resource Management Center, Payment Processing, Accounting, and Marketing departments to coordinate orders with customers and clarify any information they may need.

As an Inbound Personal Banker my main responsibility was to proactively offer correct banking products to customers and cross sell other appropriate products and services to those customers. I am also responsible for providing excellent customer service on each and every interaction, and to make sure that each customer is having their needs met. I also help new employees get acclimated to their positions as part of the mentor program. I  have to make sure that the example I set is the correct one to be followed, and that is why I always uphold company values and follow proper procedures.

Cadillac Cafe'

At the Cadillac Cafe' I helped assist in the everyday flow of the restaurant. It was my responsibility to make sure customers were not waiting too long. I helped facilitate all areas of the restaurant to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Training also became a responsibility of mine, because I was able to work as a Server, Host, and even a Busser, it gave me the ability and opportunity to train multiple positions. I also assisted in sales by recommending selections for customers that met their needs while at the same time helping provide an experience to make sure first time customers became repeat customers. I helped maintain Cadillac's reputation of high customer service and helped it to remain one of Portland's most popular and busiest restaurants.

At Jamba Juice I was instrumental in both the front and the back end of the store. Not only did I ensure the back was orderly and maintained but I helped train new employees and made sure the store was organized and able to be run in an orderly fashion. The job required a lot of multi-tasking by making sure everything was clean, properly stocked and it was also my responsibility to assist customers and provide stellar customer service.
