About Me

My name is Roxanne Woolley. I am born and bred in the Northern Territory and love everything outdoors, including horseriding, motorbikes and fishing. I have a background in music and acting, and currently work in radio and children's entertainment. I host Trivia every Thursday at Parap tavern and genuinely enjoy meeting and chatting to new people. My career aspirations are to work in advertising, media and journalism as the fields are of high interest to me. I currently hold an open manual NT drivers license and have my own reliable vehicle.
Thank you for taking your time to read my CV. Please feel free to contact me for any more information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Captain Starlight

Starlight Childrens Foundation Australia

Working as a Captain Starlight for the Starlight Childrens' foundation is an entirely enjoyable role. As a childrens' entertainer in hospital, health clinic and remote aboriginal community, each day I am faced with new challenges, new faces and a very transient work environment. Captain Starlight provides diversional therapy to seriously ill children and their families, through the use of music, creative play, magic, balloon artistry and acting. No two interactions are the same; much like no two children are the same. It is important in my role to be socially aware, ever-flexible, and especially receptive to audiences of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
