  • 2008 - Part of the pitch team that won the Australian Rugby Union business, designing the print component and coining the tag line for the pitch.
  • 2007 - Singled out to help brainstorm new products and brand experiences in a four day workshop by British American Tobacco senior clients.
  • 2007 - Gained creative responsibility of the Instant Scratchies brand, achieving 3% year-on growth.
  • 2007 - Re-designed KFC store menu panels, aiding in 5% sales growth.
  • 2007 - Chosen to be creative lead of KFC Big Brother campaign.
  • 2006 - Re-modelled Instant Scratchies creative, recommending a move away from animation to live action to give the brand more clout.
  • 2005 - Re-modelled KFC creative and brand, recommending a specialist in-house food director and photographer be implemented to help give all TV and print consistent, perfect looking food shots.
  • 2004 - Won Best in Print in-house award.
  • 2004 - Gained creative responsibility of KFC’s Kids Meal advertising, increasing market share from 8% to 26% in three years. This led to several spots being used internationally, a first for an Australian KFC ad.
  • 2003 - Launched Telstra’s 101 Home Messages using Bert Newton as the spokesperson. The campaign was so successful that it had to be taken off air for two weeks after the initial week since Telstra were having trouble coping with the number of activations.
  • 2003 - Designed Royal Easter Show print campaign, helping achieve a record first day attendance.


InDesign CS4
I use InDesign on a daily basis to create all my layouts.
Illustrator CS4
I regularly used Illustrator to design posters, coupons, promotional brochures and trade spots for KFC, Instant Scratchies and British American Tobacco.
Photoshop CS4
Since the agency studio was always in high demand, I was constantly required to manipulate images for my own layouts. This enabled me to develop a strong knowledge of Photoshop and, while I wouldn't consider myself to be on par with a professional re-toucher, I was often the 'go-to guy' if anyone was having trouble using the program.

About Me

I’m a passionate art director with an excellent eye for detail and a quick thinker. My down-to-earth nature lets me get on well with clients, both in and outside a work setting, and I’m accustomed to pitching concepts directly to them. My work ethic is second-to-none and I’m used to working the long hours and insane deadlines of advertising. I excel at time management, multi-tasking and, with over 60 TV spots and countless print jobs under my belt, I have a great wealth of retail advertising experience. My strong sense of initiative allows me to work well on my own, while a friendly and humorous disposition makes teamwork easy.

Outside of Work...

I enjoy playing or watching basketball, and get a kick out of playing Texas Hold 'em poker with friends on weekends. I like a wide range of music (I've got The Very Best of the Gypsy Kings on my ipod...) and I'm a big Terry Pratchet fan, since he's the only author I've read that's made me laugh out loud. I'm known to crave Thai food at odd hours of the day, and my favourite live acts include the Roots, J5 and Wolfmother.
