With more than a decade of experience in property management, Ronald Dean Moye knows the profession well. Since he began his career, Moye worked his way up from a Marketing Coordinator and Leasing Consultant for Post Properties to his current role as a Strategic Account Manager III for Velocity software for RealPage, Inc. Along the way, Moye has served in a variety of roles, with each one presenting distinctive challenges.Ronald Dean Moye’s first property management employer was Post Properties. This Atlanta-based corporation owns and operates a large number of upscale apartment communities. The Post communities Ronald Dean Moye worked with were already thriving. The challenge was to enhance them financially and increase customer satisfaction. He developed a new system for structuring leases and renewals that led to recognition for achieving the highest increase in gross potential rent company-wide.Subsequently, Ronald Dean Moye joined Williams Residential Management, where he assisted in launching a new group of rental communities. Moye took on the task of building communities from the ground up, designing and implementing optimal policies and procedures to facilitate profitability and ease of operation. Again, he rose to the occasion, launching five communities, all of which brought in revenue surpassing company objectives.Moye then became a Regional Director for Holiday Retirement, a management company specializing in senior-living communities. This firm faced declining unit occupancy and personnel dissatisfaction. He instituted changes that led to a turnaround in occupancy rates, and he bridged the gap between different levels of employees.Presently, Moye relies on his diverse experience to manage software accounts for rental management clients.
