IT Security project (Nov 2010 – Aug 2013) - Planned and managed a project to provide a secure test environment for the conversion testing of the Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney merger. Working closely with IT security to review and analyze 70,000 firewall rules, identifying high, medium and low risk rules. Controlled environment access by assigning virtual desktops to users. Controlled and monitored the outbound flow of data, ensuring PII data did not leave the environment.    

Vendor project (May 2010 – Nov 2010) - Managed a project to get those vendors who interface with Morgan Stanley applications, connected to a special test environment specifically set up for volume and conversion testing, due to the merger of Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. Coordinated with vendors, and network engineers to successfully establish connectivity, ensure successful transmission of test files for stress testing, and obtain certification that they could handle the increased data volume, taking into account processing time, functionality, and integrity of their systems.
