Based in San Francisco, California, Romeo Aberin is a student at the Academy of Art University, where he is studying visual development and plans to graduate with a bachelor of fine arts. Both at school and in his free time, he focuses on developing his skills and craft. He hopes to secure an art position with Disney Studios after he graduates. Romeo Aberin has professional experience as an art director for Ghodspeed Woodcraft, where he produced art for advertising campaigns. He maintained responsibility for all material details, such as style and size and media, from photographs and graphics to animation and video.
In addition to his studies, Romeo Aberin contributes to several nonprofits. Through Team Muscle Makers for Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (UCMD), he raised more than $1,400 as well as awareness for UCMD. He also contributes art that the American Heart Association uses for promotions, and visually documents events for the organization. Additionally, Aberin contributed to St. Joachim School by painting a children’s mural to teach children how to express emotions.
