Unit Armorer / Combat Life Saver

US Army

Served as a Unit Armorer for an Army Support Company, supporting over 100 Soldiers. Coordinating with leadership to ensure support for deployment and redeployment operations. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of over $1 million worth of sensitive equipment and weapons. Instructed Soldiers on proper care and maintenance of all assigned small-arms. Maintained hand-receipts for equipment issued locally and while deployed. Calibrated, zeroed, and performed user maintenance of small-arms. Identified failures and arranged higher level maintenance.

The Combat Lifesaver is a non-medical Soldier who provides lifesaving measures as a secondary mission as his primary (combat) mission allows. The Combat Lifesaver may also assist the combat medic in providing care and preparing casualties for evacuation when the Combat Lifesaver has no other combat duties to perform. Since I was never in combat I only did this in a training environment.
