Leader: Oversee in-house committees created to streamline architect services by
formulating work efficiency, creating quality control checkpoints, and increase
workmanship for quality assurance of construction documents. Managed complex projects
with limited Project Coordinators resulting in increased profits and creating additional
manpower for junior Project Managers. Contributed to additional contract work by assisting
client’s marketing efforts with tenants coordinating multiple site specific design
requirements with buildings during tenant/client contract negotiations.
Proficient: Performed the following construction administrative responsibilities daily:
·Research: Review contract documents to determine architects scope of work
and services. Identify client requirements and tenant/lease contract requirements. Review building codes, UL Assemblies, generate energy reports, and evaluate client LEED goals.
·Design Development: Finalize building materials and color selections with
client. Identify and implement building structure system and construction type best suited for region, project delivery method, and the construction budget
and schedule.
·Production and Coordination: Generate construction documents such as site plans floor plans elevations, sections, details, and schedules. Coordinate documents with specifications, consultants, equipment vendors, and client/tenant requirements.
·Bid & Permit: Assist the client with contractor interviews. Issue addendums and set up pre-bid meeting when necessary. Assist clients to meet construction budget by value engineering materials and methods of construction during negotiations.
·Quality Control: Check construction progress sets at regular intervals to determine graphic information to be true and accurate and in accordance with material standards and methods of construction used in the building industry.
·Construction Administration: Attend meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Process payment applications in accordance with the schedule of values. Review and process contractor rfi’s and change orders. Generate field reports at key construction intervals and produce punch lists to maintain quality and workmanship.

responsibilities and cultivate knowledge and experience of the architecture profession.
Assist executive staff with construction administration. Direct the production of construction
document drawings and provide value engineering services during contract negotiations.
