Description: The main activities as financial consisted in analyzing size of the market, competitors, gross profit margin and verify the economic feasibility of the sale of freeze dried products, in addition to that function I also discard and validate potential markets where our company had a competitive advantage from financial models to quantify potential profit scenarios. My functions also required to propose strategies for sales department to generate more revenue.
In parallel I had to identify, analyze and develop business proposals for the sale of freeze dried products in different markets, as well as understanding the industry in order to create business models and economic models to observe cost-benefit, return over investment and time payback.
Achievements: Identify the suitable market niche for freeze dried products(avocado and coconut) and achieve that R&D became the signature of the company. Production increased 4 times the capacity of the plant in a period of 1 year, which it translate into income $16,000 USD monthly.
