Dr. Rodolfo Gari brings ten years of postgraduate education to his current position as President and CEO of Gari Enterprises and Gari Enterprises Investments. Dr. Gari enrolled in undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida in 1977, earning his Bachelor’s in Chemistry in 1981. He then embarked on four years of postgraduate studies in medicine at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1985, and proceeded to complete an internship in internal medicine and a residency in anesthesiology. After practicing medicine for several years, Dr. Gari earned an MBA from the University of South Florida, where he graduated in the top one percent of his class. Dr. Rodolfo Gari has over 30 years of experience as a practicing physician and more than 15 years of entrepreneurial experience. Dr. Gari founded his first business in 1996. Begun as a single office with one physician, the Tampa Pain Relief Center eventually grew to encompass several locations throughout Florida, becoming one of the largest centers for pain management in the State. Within the next five years, Dr. Gari launched two more medical practices, Anesthesiology Professional Services and Surgery Partners, serving as CEO of both companies in addition to the Tampa Pain Relief Center. Operated under the umbrella of parent company Surgery Partners Holdings, which he also led as President and CEO, the three companies were sold to HIG Capital, LLC, in 2009. He then joined Gari Enterprises and Gari Enterprises Investments in 2010. Dr. Rodolfo Gari supports a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Catholic Charities USA, and Habitat for Humanity International. He also contributes to the Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa. In his spare time, Dr. Gari enjoys boating, fishing, jogging, and biking.
