* External wholesaler supporting and training financial advisors of broker dealers, managing general agencies and independent marketing organizations. * Focus was on developing and managing distribution in the 403b and 457 markets through my territory which included Florida, Houston and Atlanta. * Served as direct contact with the home offices of the groups that I represented and acted as a liaison with our company as it pertains to overseeing their sales agreements. * Attended national and regional conferences for partner firms. * Provided training and presentations to discuss products and opportunities. * Sales were driven through variable, fixed and fixed indexed annuities.
* Negotiation of new selling agreements with broker dealer firms. The goal was to increase new distribution partners in the broker dealer area. During 2008, I led our six member team with 25 selling agreements. * Led broker dealer home office discussions on the opportunity of the 403b and 457 marketplace for financial advisors. Developed strategies on how best to work with advisors for increasing success. * Trained the advisors of the firms that I represented on our products and where they could provide opportunities. * Attended national and regional conferences for broker dealer firms. * Provided training, workshops and presentations about our products. * Coordinated joint discussions with our marketing team on the creation of sales ideas for the benefit of internal and external partners. * Territory covered included Georgia and Florida.
