Rodel Flores Violin Studio

For me, private violin instruction is like planting seeds as I seek to cultivate the talant and brilliance of my students slowly and with care. I currently instruct 13 students on a weekly basis, we perform two times a year.

Music and Measures Violin Studio

I started my own violin studio at the request of parents and teachers who personally witnessed how their children or students discovered their musical potential under my direction. I have successfully guided beginner to advanced violinists from 4 to 64! My studio has also organized regular recitals, outreach programs, and corporate events. Several of my students have been interviewed in local newspapers, and they have shared how learning the violin has made a positive impact in their lives.

Trainer, Concertmaster

Peace Philharmonic Orchestra Philippines

I trained the concertmaster and principal and tutti string players of these orchestras. Under my training, the Philippine-based orchestras have performed beyond the expectations of its guest conductors such as William Conway of Scotland, Adrian Brown of England, Ruggiero Barbieri of Italy, Jun Fujimoto of Japan, and Eugene Castillo of the USA.

Trainer, Concertmaster

Penang Youth Symphony Orchestra

I was invited twice to train the Penang Youth Symphony Orchestra.

As A Chamber Musician

I organized the MSO String Quartet, which performed for visiting dignitaries in Manila. I was presented in Vienna, Japan, and major Philippine cities as a violin soloist accompanied by Filipino and international pianists. I participated in music festivals (performing a varied chamber music repertoire with both strings and winds players) in Vienna, major Philippine cities, and FInland.

My love of music inspires me everyday in my pursuit to instruct and teach our youth in the performing arts. I have a proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate children to play and perform. As a violin teacher, I've mentored several at-risk youth who are now professional musicians on an international level.

Nothing inspires me more than conducting youth orchestras and uncovering the hidden talents of the next generation of musicians.
