From his early days at the University of New Mexico earning his Bachelor of Science in Psychology to his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Robert Yarwood has possessed great determination and a sense of character to succeed professionally. From his various academic appointments to his more highly-responsible administrative posts, Robert L Yarwood has always demonstrated his exemplary professionalism and great integrity, factors which have made him earn the respect and admiration of those he has taught and worked with. Currently, Dr. Robert L Yarwood is an MCAT Instructor at Kaplan, Inc. in New York City, a job that he has embraced with passion and great perseverance. Committing himself to providing only the best possible instruction to his students, Robert Yarwood has used his extensive background in clinical settings to impart greater knowledge to learners. Knowing that his students depend much on him for their learning requirements, Robert L Yarwood has given a lot of himself in the learning process. As an effective medical school teacher, Robert Yarwood has taught lessons in a competitive learning environment that encourages his students to realize their full potentials in the classroom and apply what they have learned in a clinician’s perspective. Taking great pride in military service, Robert L Yarwood has had various Staff Appointments that include his earliest post at the US Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan from August 1986 to July 1989 to his most recent post at the Medical University of the Americas from 2009 to 2010 as Associate Dean of Clinical Medicine.
