I have over ten years of experience in designing, implementing and managing information technology. During my career I have researched, recommended, installed and managed new technology in a rapidly growing regulated environment. Some of these projects include storage area networks, disaster recovery solutions, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft messaging solutions (email and instant messaging), firewall systems, wireless solutions, and WAN/LAN connectivity with Cisco and Nortel equipment.
I have held positions ranging from end user support to Manager of Network Services in the span of my career. I have managed technical specialists in a multi-site environment. I have also acted as a technical lead during multiple integration efforts in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, making recommendations on technology and overseeing implementation within project requirements.
I hold an MBA focused on IT/business strategic alignment from Concordia University, St. Paul, a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Management from the same college, and a Networking Support Specialist AAS degree from Globe College, Oakdale, MN. In addition to formal education, I also hold certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA.
My combination of technical experience, leadership skills and business training are unique within the technology industry. I bring a collaborative, professional attitude to business challenges and seek reliable, scalable solutions that add value to an organization.
