After working as a chemist at Hewlett-Packard, Dr. Robert Milisen transitioned to a naturopathic medical career and opened his first practice in 1999. He relocated to Arizona in 2009. Based out of Prescott, Toxigone features the most up-to-date naturopathic and biological medicine techniques available. Catering to patients with chronic conditions, Dr. Robert Milisen implements therapies that support a patient’s vital functions in a holistic way. Dr. Milisen’s primary focus is to detoxify and build his patients’ bodies in order to facilitate recovery. He uses a multi-step method of one part cleansing and three parts building that prepares each patient to achieve a thorough level of detoxification.
In 1999, Dr. Robert Milisen entered private practice. He was able to intern yearly for three years at the Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland and worked with Dr. Thomas Rau. The clinic is a 50-year-old institution known for its pioneering work in alleviating pain and chronic diseases through natural healing techniques. During his training, Dr. Milisen learned how to use a variety of therapies in a synergistic manner.
Dr. Robert Milisen brought his training back to the United States, where he now offers naturopathic, European biological, and environmental medicine, as well as prolotherapy, chelation, Suisse neural therapy, and a range of immune therapies. Moreover, his treatments favor a comprehensive assessment of a patient’s overall health thorough blood, stool, urine, and saliva testing, which aids Dr. Milisen in prioritizing therapeutic steps.
An active member in his professional community, Dr. Robert Milisen holds membership with the International Association of Alternative Health Professionals, the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, the Biological Medicine Network, and the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists.
