My biggest achievements:

(1) Automotive (tier2): Accelerated sales growth by over 66%, increased integral margin by over 12%-points, improved outsource vs. in-house manufacturing ratio (OM share) @ aftermarket by over 16%-points, and successfully launched over 200 products worldwide in less than 3.5years as a team achievement till Q1 2015!

(2) Medical Devices: Obtained three CE certificates for medical devices (class IIa and IIb), one patent on a medical device for heart surgery, and triggered to sell patents for a 6 digit €-number within only 18 months!

(3) ICT: Successfully launched over 120 individual software packages (customization, feature-driven development) for over 80 customers in more than 90 countries within only 4 years!

(4) ICT: 1st commercial UMTS project – Software (SW) production (sub-project): Planned and steered an MSC SW production project in size of €1.4m (SOX) and 25kmhrs with a time span of 18mths by leading four teams with up to 18 employees in total. Achieved a delivery precision of 95% due to introduction of transparency of design deliverables and optimization of production process – time saving of over 70% – based on team results.

Product & Program Manager Outsource Manufacturing (OM)

While continuing as a program manager at OM more and more product marketing management tasks for over 180 countries came into the picture with following KPI's since 2012:

  • Sales per year: €60m in 2014,
  • Integral margin per year: 50% in 2014,
  • OM share (ratio between outsource vs. total manufacturing in the aftermarket): 35% in 2014 that were all met as team achievements..

Led virtual teams of about 15 co-workers in Asia, ran up to 15 projects in parallel, consulted/supported several functions in the BU Automotive Lighting, held regular contact with internal laboratories for product control (CoP) and release of new types, as well as to Notified Bodies for product certification.

Taken over an additional assignment in homologating more than 120 lamps including OEM business for the Brazilian market with a turnover of €40m in 2013.

    Achieved turnarounds of critical projects with a CE-mark:

    • DELTASTREAM® HC: Conversion of an OEM into PLM product by making an existing hypo-/hyperthermia device applicable to heart surgery.
    • DELTASTREAM® Mobile Device Controller (MDC): Control unit for an extra corporeal bloodpump system.
    • “ETB Prodonor”: European development project of implementing a transportable organ preservation device for kidney transplants.

    • Met challenging time, budget and quality goals in 2008: delivery precision of 100%, budget precision of -4.98% of a total budget of €2.1m, and a SW defect rate of 0%, compared to 5.8% in 2005.

      Biggest achievements: E112 function for Swisscom @ Switzerland and special implementation of R-call for TIM @ Brazil.

    • 1st commercial release of UMTS: SW production (sub-project).

    • Responsibility of budget and costs of up to €1.24m (SOX) and 25.000mhrs over a time span of 18mths by leading 4 teams with up to 18 employees in total.

    • Shortened leadtime of production process by over 77% down to only 2wks per SW increment by performing a detailed gap analysis and implementing whose results, and achieved a delivery precision of 95%.

    • Promoted to Multi Project Manager.
