Articulated the organizational vision for STEM education. Cultivated institutional partnerships to support program goals. Designed and executed a coherent program of services for a network of STEM schools, beginning with the turnaround of ten chronically low performing schools.
Oversaw the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of all professional learning for a network of more than 100 schools, including schools that target first-generation college goers and aim to graduate students with a high school diploma and college credit.
Launched a new R&D department to accelerate the organization's learning - for improvement as well as innovation. In the first six months, trained the entire organization on Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles for innovation and implemented the first PDSA “wave,” resulting in 30+ presentations of prototypes, lessons learned, and recommended next steps.
