PEC SOLUTIONS, Inc.

Led activities (design, development, and testing), of the Software Development Group, supervising a team of 22 engineers and ensuring group projects certification at CMM Level 3. Developed and maintained Electronic Fraud Detections Systems (EFDS) – one of the world’s largest Oracle database systems – for the IRS.Directed project, in collaboration with newly formed Homeland Security Department, to develop a system for detecting misuse of regulations by travelers to the U.S. Contributed to development of proprietary algorithms for detecting “suspect” passengers on international flights. Managed Division – 65 employees and $7M-$10M annual sales – when Director was not available.

  • Spearheaded EFDS project, used as an illustration of company’s profitability when it went public.
  • Implemented highly successful requirements-based approach to meeting customer needs, which resulted in improved communications and solutions delivery.
