  • Participant in multi-disciplinary teams to address complex cases;  working in partnership with Family Preservation Services, Virginia Department of Social Services, the Public School system, and the Virginia Court system
  • Served as a school and health liaison for families of at-risk children 
  • Educator and Mediator for 10 various workshops, groups, classes, and orientation presentations, including refugee women’s groups, cultural adaptation orientations, health and nutrition workshops, and parenting classes
  • Initiated and maintained community partnerships with area groups, agencies, and nonprofits to increase and enhance service delivery and share resources; including but not limited to, Commonwealth Catholic Charities, Church World Services, Department of Social Services, Legal Aid of Virginia. Served as the leader and Secretariat of the Richmond Refugee Dialogue Group for two years
