Mr. Wess is the owner and founder of Wess Commercial Investments [WCI] specializing in Commercial Real Estate and Business Investments for Private Equity and Owner-User operations.He has been a leader in the real estate industry including project development, asset management and business acquisitions and disposition throughout much of the United States for over 20 years in well-recognized public and private companies. His development and asset management experience for Regional and International companies include over 3 million square feet to his credit along with acquisition and disposition experience in mid-size business operations valued at over $170 million.
Most recently, Mr. Wess was Cheif of Operations for Union Development Company, and Union Development Financial, Inc. (the parent company for UDC), a 110 year-old privately-held real estate company headquartered in Cerritos, California. His leadership and operational acumen provided the catalyst needed for a significant financial turnaround of this company valued at over $100 million dollars.His prior experience also included a position as Corporate Vice President of Real Estate for Smart & Final Stores Corp. (an International billion dollar publicly traded company) where he led his department in all property development and asset management functions for a portfolio of 230 commercial properties within the U.S. and Mexico as well as the Merger & Acquisition of mid-size companies.
Mr. Wess has also gained significant experience in commercial lending, corporate liaison to government clients, energy & conservation management and legal processing.
