As the Assistant Manager, I am responsible for several day to day functions. My main responsabilities are employee coaching, customer service, and ensuring quality product is be served to customers. I am also responsible for inventory, cooking, cleaning, ordering product and miscellanious items for the restaurant, and coding invoices to be paid. Cash handling is also a big part of my job, from receiving payment to the final deposit of the shift. There are many other job duties I perform such as maintenance, handling employee issues, and so on and so forth.
My employment at Kopper Kettle was during a transitional period for me while I went back to school and I was also helping out the owner whom happened to be a good friend. I performed many job duties while working there from dishwashing, cooking, cleaning, food prep, serving customers, cash handling, and helped to try and re-enforce teamwork with the current employees.
As the General Manager, I was responsible for all day to day functions. I opened and closed the
restaurant, did daily, weekly, and end of period paperwork. Daily deposits and bank runs.
Scheduling of employees. Hiring and terminating employees. Customer Service. Coding invoices to
be paid. Also resposnible for inventory, cooking, cleaning, store orders. Ordering uniforms and other
products for the store. E.T.C.
As the assistant manager I was responsible for training employees, ensuring quality customer
serive, ordering product for the store, doing inventory, opening and or closing the store. Special
orders for customers, meeting sales goals, cleaning, daily deposits and bank runs. Informing our
customer call list of when their specified product was on sale. As well as daily, weekly and end of
period paperwork.
My objective is to obtain a position where I can utilize my customer service and management skills to
their fullest. As well as help to improve the company with my knowledge.
