I am Riley Sackett, recent graduate with a finance degree, hoping to find a job within this field. As a recent graduate, much like many others, it is very difficult to find a job right after graduation. I've sent out many resumes with the hopes that employers will be able to tell that I am worthy of being hired from the list of life achievements on one sheet of paper. But it doesn't look like they've noticed. So I've decided to show employers exactly what they will get if they hire me:
- They will get someone who asks questions. I ask because I want to learn more and help others by making sure I know what I am doing.
- Employers will also get someone who is proactive with their actions and thoughts. I am not the type of person who sits back and waits for work or tasks to be given. I strive to get the most out of my time and others who I get the opportunity to work with.
- Hiring me will also give employers someone who is not afraid to give the hard but necessary criticism to myself and others in order to achieve a goal. I believe this is a very important skill to have as I've watched other projects fail because no one was willing to give the tough criticism.
If you're ready to hire someone who is willing to work hard, work with others, and learn from your employment opportunity, then read on!
