Rick Ruvkun brings more than three decades of experience in investment management to his position as a Partner and Director of Domestic Equity Research with Lord Abbett. Utilizing his diverse experience in finance and engineering, Ruvkun joined Merrill Lynch as an Associate in the firm's Venture Capital Division in 1983. In 1986, Rick Ruvkun accepted a position as an Equity Research Analyst with Morgan Stanley. After concentrating on the information technology sector, Ruvkun shifted his focus to the firm's Emerging Growth Fund. With this experience, he managed a portfolio of small- and medium-capitalization equities at Bessemer Trust beginning in 1993. He joined J & W Seligman in 1997 and became a Portfolio Manager in 1999.
