  • Brought on board to build a new revenue stream for TRW, selling targeted direct marketing programs to the top retailers in the U.S. Essentially created new market, first defining size/scope of "new mover" programs, then convincing retailers of their value.
  • Captured 3 new clients (Sears, Kmart, Montgomery Ward) within 6 months and executed programs that exceeded all client expectations.

I am fascinated with marketing technology and the latest realm of possibilities that exist today. I am very interested in the work being done with respect to harnessing the power of the web and making it unique, relevant, and accessible to the individual in ways never done before. There is a major shift underfoot that will transform the way companies market, and a big part of that is ceding control of the marketer-consumer relationship to the consumer. It is a huge cultural shift that will be accelerated by the adoption of the appropriate technologies and acceptance that this is a much better way to enrich customer relationships.I have a very entrepreneurial and active family. My wife started her own company last year and is steadily building the business into something great. I have two sons; my oldest heads off to college next year at the University of Virginia, and my youngest is a rising sophomore in high school. Both are involved in competitive sports - lacrosse, football and basketball. On the activity side, we love to ski (snow and water), snowboard, scuba dive, play golf, and work out (in order to do all of these things!). My wife and I love to travel - our favorite destination by far being Italy. I worked on getting conversant before our last trip which really made a difference in the experiences we had. I look forward to increasing my proficiency in Italian and putting it to good use soon. We plan on increasing our travel once the kids are older but are in no hurry to reach that stage!
