PennyRich International

I developed a highly effective computer company providing computer sales & services and web hosting & design. My background in business and computers has allowed me to reduced the IT cost for many of the local business by providing solid solutions to there Information Technology needs. I either host or have designed most of the websites for Raton. I successfully negotiated to bring in the OS3’s that currently provides DSL to Northern New Mexico. I am a Microsoft OEM, Intel Professional, Symantec Partner and a member of the (NMIPA) New Mexico Internet Professionals Association. I am currently on the Economic Development board of directors for the Raton Main Street.

1991 - Present

TV Service Training Instructor II

As instructor for Tektronix Television and Spectrum Analyzers Division I developed and taught classes for both sales and service. This job was cut short due to restructuring in Tektronix, I was asked to become the Training Program Manager for T&M, Spectrum Analyzer and TV divisions.

Training Program Manager

In this position I developed and implemented computer based training programs for the Spectrum Analyzer, OTDR, and TV divisions at Tektronix. My staff and I created and maintained an assets library for Tektronix containing sound, video, animation, and graphics accessible over LAN & WAN. As a member of the (IICS) International Interactive Communication Society I consulted in the development of training material for other companies like Microsoft and Intel.

1985 - 1991

Sales Engineer

I managed the setting up and operation of a $15,000,000.00 sales organization to sell Tektronix products. At the same time I obtained 141 % of my personal target ($5,176,000.00) for the year 1989 and never fell below 125% of my target at any other year.

T&M Service Training Instructor

I taught to the component level Tektronix Spectrum Analyzers, Scopes, Logic Analyzers, Optical Time Domain Reflectometers and Curve Tracers to customers as well as Tektronix students’ world wide.

1978 - 1982

T&M Service Support Staff Engineer

I developed the New Product Introduction and support policies and procedures for Tektronix Spectrum Analyzers world wide. I also maintained an ongoing relationship with the factory to reduce failure rate of new products.

1973 - 1978

Engineering Technician

I troubleshot and repaired all of Tektronix products lines for customers and internal use. I specialized on Spectrum Analyzers and Logic Analyzers. Because of my ability to quickly determine faults I was given the nickname of Mr. Wizard.






To successfully manage or run a business you have to be a sales man.


I have managed projects and employees on a one on one to many in the US and Europe.


I have created and sold businesses for myself and others. I have taught the NXlevel business training for the state of New Mexico.

I can teach to the component level most technologies. I specialized in microwave, RF and military applications. I can also diagnose and service most any electronic device.

Computers Hardware

I can repair and maintain most any kind of computer hardware.
