Dedicated to excellence in distribution logistics, Richard Kropski has committed more than two decades of service to some of the nation’s leading manufacturing firms. Over the course of his professional development Kropski has demonstrated expertise in areas including financial and operational metrics, logistics analysis, and design audit and implementation.After a long and successful working life in senior distribution management, Richard Kropski recently assumed the role of Principal Consultant for Inde Consultants, a Midwestern supply chain consultancy firm with offices in Wisconsin and Illinois. In his current role, Kropski develops and analyzes business proposals, assesses corporate capabilities, and offers clients a range of cost-saving and revenue-generating solutions while overseeing a team of highly trained analysts. He recently initiated a joint proposal between three of the nation’s leading private manufacturers, providing the opportunity for these companies to improve process and capacity by operating as a 3PL business.Richard Kropski previously filled roles in senior management for companies such as Perry Judd’s, Inc., RR Donnelley, and Arandell Corporation. Early in his career he served as Vice President of Logistics and Distribution for World Color Press, Inc., a $2 billion printing manufacturer located in Bensenville, Illinois. During his tenure at this leading commercial printer, he generated more than $2.5 million in cost reductions through consolidation while yielding more than $14 million in profits. A proponent of giving back to his profession, Richard Kropski volunteers as Treasurer of Delta Nu Alpha and participates in the organization’s Logistics Council. He is an active member of professional societies including the Postmaster General’s Mailers' Technical Advisory Committee and the Postal Commerce Association, for which he formerly served as a Board Director.
