The end of the year see's me as a lead character in the Christmas children's pantomime presented by Chadstone Christmas Stories.
For the past 5 years now Ive had the working pleasure of choreographing and directing the Goyder Pavilions performance production show for the Royal Horticultural and agricultural society as part of the Royal Adelaide show. A big budget entertainment piece originally created for the 175th year anniversary of the society and due to its success and popularity of its now fifth year, looks to remain an annual event.
In recent years, I've starred on the children's television show 'The Fairies' where I was also the show’s choreographer, and more notably as the colourful runner-up on Australia's first season of ‘So You Think You Can Dance' in 2008. 2012 saw the first heat win of the short lived TV show 'Everybody Dance Now' as part of the all male cabaret troupe 'Boylesque and a lead role in the adult pantomime 'Little Orphan Trashley' at the Sydney Opera House. From the age of about 6 to 11 I trained and competed at state level gymnastics. Training was rigorous helped me to develop body awareness and strength when young. Although competent I eventually chose to commit to my love of dance training and performing.
From the age of 7 through to 16 I studied most forms of dance.. Classical, Jazz, Funk, Tap. As well as Singing, Drama, Voice elocution and Acrobatics. I was a part of the ‘Performance team’ which allowed me to perform live on many different stages from a very young age, eg. Shopping center’s, corporate functions, fashion parades, fete’s and festivals, concerts and parties, television and radio commercials as well as live theatre. In 1997 I was awarded student of the year and received a scholarship. During these years I also competed in the South Australian Dance Estedford , placing in each competition.
I was accepted at the age of 16 to study year 11 at the college. Studying Ballet, Jazz and cotemporary as well as academic subjects.
