About me

I have been studying and working in contemporary media practice's for 2 years in London; previous to that I have worked in the South West of England. My work history has predominantly  been spent as a freelance photographer, but I have decided to apply my industry knowledge to pursue a career as a Curator. I am currently studying for my BA Honours degree in Contemporary Media Practice and look forward to gaining more experience in the gallery environment.

A life skill I have learnt, that has been so beneficial to my professional life is confidence.  It is in my nature to go the extra mile when knowing my subject matter; whether thats contemporary art, gallery history or exhibition's that are currently showing. I have to have my finger on the creative pulse in London at all times to achieve this.

After finishing my A levels I spent a year working in the financial industry which taught me crucial customer  skills and most importantly gave me a great work ethic that I use on continuous basis when working as a Photographer and Curator.

Industry knowledge

I have spent just over 2 years working professionally as a photographer and in that time have picked up invaluable industry knowledge along with a great sense of awareness when it comes to gallery owners, press, artists and other industry professionals.

Creative eye

I am often praised on my ability to create something that is aesthetically pleasing. I can see artistic opportunity where others perhaps can not. This has put me above my competitors on many occasion's and ultimately this creative instinct is what has drawn me to the role of the Curator.
