Reuben Jacobs is studying computer science and biology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to and during his pursuit of a bachelor of science degree, Reuben Jacobs has gained experience through a variety of software engineering positions and courses.
While still in high school, Mr. Jacobs completed advanced placement (AP) programs in computer science and web design. Between grades 11 and 12, he attended a summer class called “Fluency in Information Technology” at the University of California, San Diego.
In 2012, Mr. Jacobs was granted a summer internship at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, he furthered his computer skills through the organization and formatting of data for various divisions of the company.
Outside of school, Mr. Jacobs continues to hone his technical abilities by assisting business owners in his neighborhood with tech-related tasks. He also volunteers his technical support services with Mission Hill Main Streets – a non-profit business improvement organization.
In his spare time, Reuben Jacobs enjoys listening to music and attending concerts as well as learning independently about advances in the biotechnology industry.
