Develop security messaging and content for global marketing teams and Subject Matter Expert leading Customer Advocacy efforts to develop strong customer references for case studies, speaking opportunities, video, web, social media and other marketing programs across the Security portfolio.

NSS Labs

Lead public relations, media relations and social media efforts to build reputation of NSS analysts as thought leaders, gaining placement in 300+ articles per year.  Own launch plans, media outreach, and approval of all marketing efforts with key partners for launch of major NSS public group test results (NGFW, IPS, etc.).


Sr. Security Marketing Manager, Americas

HP Enterprise Security/TippingPoint (acquisition)

Develop all corporate, field and channel marketing programs throughout the US, Canada and Latin America for TippingPoint both pre- and post-acquisition by HP. Doubled lead pipeline each quarter through effective online media programs and content creation. Manage qualification and nurturing process utilizing Eloqua and SFDC.


Sr. Marketing Manager

Websense/SurfControl (acquisition)

Managed team responsible for lead generation, webcasts, and channel marketing programs. Created unique interactive campaign to launch acquired SaaS products driving a 25% response for product evaluations. Developed new co-branded video marketing platform allowing channel partners to execute highly-trackable marketing programs. Lead SurfControl global event marketing increasing leads and pipeline by 95%. Owned field and channel marketing for the Central US & Canada driving ~$11m in quota.

Panorama Software

Responsible for driving all field and partner marketing activity in the Central and Western US to support sales goals of over $8m for a Business Intelligence software company beginning its 2nd year of operation in North America.  Responsible for managing relationship with Microsoft and all marketing planning in 11 Microsoft districts. 


Field Marketing Manager

McAfee, Inc.

Develop and implement field marketing programs, events and activities for multiple product lines in all markets throughout the West, Southwest and Southeast US. Work directly with sales organization to insure that marketing activities directly support average revenue goals of ~ $15m per quarter. Work closely with strategic partners and resellers in all markets to develop and execute joint marketing programs.


Tradeshow & Marketing Program Manager

PentaSafe Security Technologies

Responsible for generating over $4m/year in revenue for fast-growing software company through execution of 30+ trade shows and multiple lead-generating marketing programs on minimal budget of $500k/year  Responsibilities include development of corporate and product messaging, promotion strategies and lead generation programs such as trade shows, advertising, speaking engagements, email and direct marketing campaigns. 


Exhibit/Event Marketing Manager, Software Group


Lead cross-divisional teams to execute marketing activities and exhibit presence at major industry trade shows, events and conferences with individual event budgets of $300k to over $7m.  Selected as single-point-of-contact for all IBM business partners participating in joint marketing events or trade shows.  Leveraged corporate integrated marketing campaigns to produce events and exhibits that were on message and on brand. 

Conference & Speaker Manager, IBM Technical Interchange

Managed all scheduling, communications and on-site logistics for 200+ speakers presenting 291 conference sessions running in 19 elective session rooms and 6 hands-on labs during IBM's annual developer conference of over 1000 attendees.  Worked with a multi-division team to determine conference tracks and to select education sessions for each.
