Accountant-Manager

Hired as a staff accountant and was promoted to senior accountant and then to my current  position as manager with a mid-sized full service CPA firm.

  • Responsible for creating audit plans along with training and managing a team of 3 to 4 staff accountants in the execution of audits for multiple small to mid-sized clients in a variety of industries (i.e. Governmental municipalities, Non-Profit, 401(k) plans and privately held companies).
  • Responsible with the management of full service accounting for a group of clients.  Services include assisting with end-of-period closings, budgeting, bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, preparing quarterly and end of year payroll tax reports along with other general and specific management/business consulting based on the specific needs of the individual client.
  • Responsible for managing and executing an array of tax services for a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals, Partnerships, Sub-S Corporations, and Non-Profits.  Services include consulting, planning and form preparation along with staying current on changes in tax laws relevant to the needs of specific clients.
