  • Trained, coached and mentored staff to perform invoice analysis, validation and payment approval for all network related expenses. 
  • Developed dispute database to track and resolve all network billing disputes.
  • Collaborated with Accounting/Finance to enhance G/L coding structure to ensure costs were allocated to correct cost drivers.

  • Trained and coached team of network auditors to perform invoice analysis, validation, and approval of all network-related invoices.
  • Work closely with Network Engineering to ensure network optimization with respect to cost.

Collocation Implementation Project Manager  3/00 – 9/01

Project Manager and team member to manage all aspects of collocation installation, augments, and other projects as assigned.

  • Directed all phases of collocation process from application submission to successful turn up of site
  • Conducted weekly status calls with vendors to review project status and ensure dates were met by all parties involved
  • Implemented comprehensive tracking processes to monitor activity and identify any potential issues.

Overall responsibility for network design, installation and maintenance of all transport facilities to support four major switch sites.  

  • Worked closely with Network Engineering to ensure design specifications were met and circuit designs were maintained accurately in database.

Overall management responsibility for lthree switching facilities and operator service network, within 32 states and Mexico.  Accomplishments included:

  • Directed regroom and consolidation of networks after the successful completion of an acquisition.
  • Implemented routing of 800 traffic to on-net facilities which resulted in annual savings in excess of $500,000.
  • Drove changes to routing and network configuration which improved efficiencies and reduced overall cost by more than 7%.
  • Maintained Least Cost Routing database, ensured all routing followed guidelines as outlined in LERG (Local Exchange Routing Guide).
